Well hello there!
Well, here it is, the much anticipated weblog of Jean Holmes.
First off, I need to thank Tim for setting this up for me. He always makes everything seem like it’s no big deal, but I probably owe him for about a thousand favors. Thanks Timmy!
Now I’ll just jump right in. I just recently went to a guitar workshop in Austin, TX that was a total blast. Unfortunately, I was the only one in my Blues class that brought an acoustic guitar. Luckily for me, my very cool instructor Paul Metzger let me borrow his beautiful Ibanez semi-hollowbody for the whole week. I was hooked. So yesterday I got rid of another beautiful guitar that I never play. It was a ’97 Les Paul Studio Deluxe, transparent wine red with gold hardware. However, that son of a gun is reallllly heavy. I have a bad lower back and couldn’t play that guitar for more than 10 minutes or so without needing to do lots of drugs to feel better. Sooooo, I traded that in yesterday for an Ibanez AS-83. I was up till 11 playing it last night, I love it!
