I have coooool friends!

My old roommate and great friend Erin sent me this today when she came across it looking for an old email. It’s an Evite party invitation from back in May of 2004 for the going away party she threw for me. The AWESOME going away party she threw for me!!! Thanks Shmetey Petey, I miss you tons!!!

Jean can catch a groove to put your feet on the move. She’s got a notion
that has caused a commotion. She’s going to Philly, to Philly…to Philly.

Everybody knows she digs musical sounds, strong and a sundry like her coffee grounds. Funky Holmes said ‘See ya!’ to the ‘net’ – making music for a livin’, she’s dead set. She ain’t joining no barbershop quartet. She’s going to Philly, to Philly…to Philly.

Let’s tear it up with the Jeano and do some damage (not too much though, this is my Dad’s house – yo), throw a few back and come at her like a heart attack – you know she’ll be packing her music rack cause the girlie’s going off the beaten track…….She’s going to Philly, to Philly…to Philly.

This is a great reminder to me of how much faith my good friends have in me. Not to mention how freakin funny they are. Anyway, I’ll always take any inspiration I can get, and my friends have always provided TONS of it!
