Blessed
Surprise! Happy Thanksgiving!
My week before Thanksgiving was a bummer. I was sad because I was far away from friends and family. Then I found out Rob was working during the day, rather than the evening. All our plans for dinner were over. I was going to make a pumpkin pie for our small group and that would be it. Sad, huh?
It would have been, if that had actually happened.
Instead, I walked into Diane and Gerad’s home and found a big table decorated in red white and blue. A thanksgiving dinner provided by our friends in Tasmania, as a surprise for my birthday. What a wonderful blessing.

This makes me happy! I’m SO glad you got to have a Thanksgiving meal and birthday all tied up into one. I just had sweet potato pie for the first time last night and that was quite a treat, too…It made up for my lack of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving, anyway.
