"The Green Mile," stealing, and Tetris...
Wow! An update more quickly than I thought. I’m so proud of me.
I saw “The Green Mile” tonight. It was OK, but I didn’t think it was as good as everyone said. I didn’t cry.
I have to make a correction to my first posting. I didn’t mean to imply that I had the original idea to put a journal up on my site at all. Somewhere down the line, I think it just hit me to do one too. In actuality, it was a guy I met through mutual music circles named Scott Evans (see Sensational section for link) who inspired me to put the journal up. Mine will probably never be as funny — or as regularly posted — as his and I’ll probably steal more from him in the future.
I just finished playing a game of Tetris. I play it a lot—I’ve found that it’s the best way for me to take my mind off of a subject, yet still think about it subconciously. I have most of my revelations (design-wise, at least) playing Tetris. I didn’t have any tonight. The best (traditional) version I’ve found so far is Tetris Max for the Mac. My favorite version of all time is Tetrisphere for the N64. My ex-girlfriend and I came across it near when we first met and instantly got addicted. I try playing every once in a while now and it just isn’t the same. It’s still an awesome game, though.
