well… if you want to start a frenzying mob, thats a way to do it. However, its definitely part of a plan that should already be put into place. i’m with you there.

Yeah, because the frenzied mob isn’t already there because of starvation and dehydration? Huh. An airdrop should have happened days ago.

I can’t believe the news either… Wrote a little piece on my blog as well. It seems like the US government doesn’t really care about New Orleans. It’s completely unbelievable but yet it looks like it. You should listen to this:

i hear you. but i think one airdrop would create something that would make what we’re seeing now, pale in comparison. However, why we havent prepared maybe hundreds of airdrops or made attempts to… you’d think we’d have a plan in place. and also, considering the city has been known to be below sea level… why wasnt a precautionary citizen prepared protocall in place. you dont move into a location like that without considering the risks. at least i wouldnt… we’re prepared for earthquakes (to some degree) here in CA. These areas should have a plan for “in the event of..”.

Oh, I guess when I said “airdrop,” I didn’t just mean one of ‘em — yeah, hundreds (even thousands).

You are right about disaster preparedness… I guess when there hasn’t been a disaster in almost a hundred years (the last flood was in 1927), people get overconfident and lazy about those kinds of things.

This link is crazy… he is “pissed”. for sure. I have some issues with some of things he’s saying but certainly can justify his emotions. He could perhaps stop using the Lord’s name in vain on the air for starters.. haha. But wow, maybe thats what it takes to cut through red tape.

Here’s a thought: If the federal government holds off just a few more days, perhaps the remaining survivors will be too weak, hungry and dehydrated to be frenzied. That’s how you keep those people in line. It’s called effective crisis management.

Here’s the next $64,000 question: Given the tragedy in the Gulf Coast, the massive effort required to evacuate residents to safety, and the beating it is taking right now for its gross incompetence, will the administration/government still proceed with its extravagant plans to “celebrate” the anniversary of 9/11 next week?

I’m curious as to what everyone thinks about the thoughts/plans to rebuild New Orleans. Hey, we just spent tons of money rescuing thousands of people from the place, let’s let them go back into the bowl so it can happen again!
