Informatio: ,

This day marks three years...

JuliannaDid you know that I love my wife?

I was speaking with a friend this morning about how more married couples than can be counted have told Julianna and I that old, cliché marriage advice:

“Every year that you are married will only get better.”
Well, we’re three years into it and I can already tell you… All of those people were right.

And it’s even more special now, because of this.

Julianna is not only my wife, but my dearest friend. I cherish every aspect that she brings into our life together. She is beautiful in ever way imaginable.

Really? I always wonder if my married friends at church are in a conspiracy together to tell single people like me to get married so they’re as unhappy as they really are. Its all a… big… conspiracy, i tell ya.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, GUYS!!!! LOOKING FORWARD TO LITTLE KC SAMOFF!

Ha ha… Yeah, I always thought it was a conspiracy too… But it’s not. No, really… And I’m not brainwashed into the conspiracy either… I…swear. ;-)

Congratulations! Our marriage counsellors told us we would hit a 3 year ‘dip’ in our marriage where we would be bored and angry with each other.
Didn’t happen. Now we are past 5 years and happy. The next dip is supposed to be at the 7 year mark. Ha!
Congratulations on the good news!

it sounded like he was making a subtle joke. Yikes.. Thats it! Not getting married then! (ring, ring) “Honey, listen, i have something to tell you… “

dennisthemenace () - September 08, 2005 at 11:23 am

that’s what we were told…right before we split up into different rooms (and I kid you not) he squeezed some KY liquid onto my fingers and told me ALLLL about sex and what to do.
Yeah, arkward.
Oh, and my wife was told that she needed to be 3 things to me – a mother, a maid and a wh*re. Yep yep.
Outrageous.

Dude, that’s crazy! I’ve never heard of such a thing. Wow. Well, it makes for a hilarious story anyway! :-D

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! i take it this is not a church counselor?! Don’t tell me. That is awesome. i mean awful. wait…

dennisthemenace () - September 08, 2005 at 11:51 am

This was a church counselor. Yes indeed. At a baptist church. Pretty progressive, although a little too progressive. I’ve blocked most of it out. Mhmmm Hmmm!
One more thing – and then my stories end, my wife was given a stick of bright red lipstick. To accompany the wh*re status – I called it ‘prostitute red’.
Pretty funny stuff…I think.

I am speechless.

timsamoff () (URL) - September 08, 2005 at 3:38 pm

yep…. me too.

dennisthemenace () - September 08, 2005 at 4:38 pm

Congratulations my friend. The cousin’s little babies are always fun to hang out with, but of course everyone lives everywhere BUT where we are. Which is fine, because that just means you’ll have to come visit. God bless the both of you on this fourth year together!
