Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster...
This is hilarious and since I live in the next state over, I thought I’d share…
Flying Spaghetti Monsterism is a satirical parody religion created to protest the decision by the Kansas State Board of Education to allow intelligent design to be taught in science classes alongside evolution…Laughing out loud funny.
The beliefs of the religion include:
- The Universe was created by an invisible and undetectable Flying Spaghetti Monster. All evidence pointing towards evolution was intentionally planted by this being.
- According to the pastafarians, the monster created the world starting with a mountain, trees and a midget, and continues to guide human affairs with his “noodly appendage.” Heaven is depicted as having a stripper factory and a beer volcano.

why am i not laughing? i guess it’s an obvious stab at Creationism as if it actually has no foundation. Funny? a bit. Infuriating? a bit more.

Sometimes, in the mornings when I look in the mirror – I look like a flying spaghetti monster. I also smell like one sometimes.

On a humorous but serious note. If you want to get an accurate representation of my Junior High science classes. From the tract, replace the teacher with a male teacher and the little girl saying “thats a lie” with me. :)

I obviously overgeneralized about my teacher but I thought the response was funny and goes in line with the overgeneralization of the original post and the “tract” you referenced. :) Wow, I’m violating my pet peeve, overgeneralizations. Tim, I need help, make me stop, HAHA. :)

I saw this a few weeks ago, and I couldn’t beleive it. The guy who came up with it seems like he is getting alot of publicity over it.
I just keep reminding myself that… eventually… one day every knee will bow and confess that Jesus is truly Lord. Including the creator of the FSM.
