The Posies...

Ken and Jon, from , played an intimate (free) set at last night, before their “bigger” show at the . There were only about fifteen of us there, including and Stacey and Jennifer Schmitz.

They were great, but five songs is just not enough.

I shot a couple of short video clips, but they didn’t turn out very good. If you’d like to see one more still photo, go here.

I like the fact that a young Kurt Cobain watches intently from behind Ken and Jon. Too funny. :-D

Dude, awesome!! however, no.. 5 songs is NOT much. But what did you think?

Well, like I said… They were great. My favorite parts were their harmonized choruses and one of the guitar solo interchanges that the two did together. Pretty darned cool.

Well, the show happened last night — about an hour after the acoustic set. Maybe next time.

awww!!! yeah, you shoulda gone. Next time, definitely. I thought i was gonna say goodbye but loved the show so much out here i just can’t. Even if they are playing some new songs that suck. Some of the new songs totally rocked live.

tim, thanks for just saying “The Posies” – my heart was immediately warmed with memories of listening to “Dear 23” turned up to 11 in college.

thanks as always for the good blogging.
