Post-Emergent?

has decided that he’s “.” He brings up a lot of really good points, like:

4. Talk, talk and more talk. My experience is we love to talk about this stuff but other than retro worship stuff we don’t get around to acting on it. Even so talk about diversity has never come to the fore. I want to be the church and act like the church not just talk like the church.

Cutting-edge indeed… I’m not one for labels in the first place and I’m feeling quite comfortable right where I am. (But, maybe that’s my problem!)

I am not officialy aligned with the Emergent, although I would consider myself part of the emerging convo. I think it is silly to label yourself again and again… I mean, there’s nothing wrong with it, but it doesn’t really fix anything…
