My "fight" with Viacom & YouTube...
Well, maybe not YouTube, but…
If you’ve been listening to the news at all lately, you’ll have heard about Viacom‘s lawsuit against YouTube.com (read the Wired article here.) Likewise, if you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you’ll know that I sort of felt it personally (and vented about it here.)
Anyway, after sending a letter of complaint (yes, a real live USPS stamped letter) and about fifty emails back and forth with YouTube, I finally got the copyright infringement status taken off of my film. I know I’ve linked to it here before, but I’m so happy that I thought I’d embed it right here in this post.
(If the video doesn’t play click here to go to the video at YouTube.)
I hope you enjoy it. And, be sure to notice that nothing about it even remotely suggests a copyright violation against Viacom. (Ugh.)
