More fun with the N800...

My dad was in town this weekend for a brief (but well appreciated) visit.

Yesterday, he and I took a trip down to the , to walk around and stop for some coffee at Eightbucks (big hat-tip to for that, more than appropriate name change).

My dad, his coffee, and The Plaza - taken and emailed by the Nokia N800 Internet TabletWhile sitting, chatting, and drinking our coffee, my dad suggested that I take a picture of him and email it to my mom (my mom is also a huge fan of Starbucks on the Plaza). So, I whipped out my…handy , snapped a quick photo and attached to to an email addressed to my mom.

Rather than use Starbucks’ pay-for-internet Wifi access point, though, my N800 quickly found a number of open alternatives ready for the plucking. I chose the access point with the highest number of bars, connected, and the “Send” button in my email app. Seconds later, my mom was looking at (and envying) my dad holding his coffee.
