Status of the day...

Speaking of which, my status can change from minute to minute. It’s a blast!

We have to be at the hospital at 5:45a tomorrow morning. It’s ungodly, right? But, it beats waiting all day, that’s for sure.

Pre-Surge DoPeople have been asking me how I can keep such a good attitude about my surgery. Honestly, it’s not always good. First things first: I can put on a damn fine facade. You wouldn’t even want to know. But, in all reality, while I’m definitely freaked out about all of this, I do have an inner peace. And, my friends, that peace comes from the fact that I know God and I believe in prayer.

You know what else freaks me out (but in a good way)? Aside from all of the kind and loving individuals that are praying for me, there are (in the latest count) seven entire church congregations that are praying for me as well… Can you imagine? I’m floored.

So, yes… I am stressed and scared and all of that good stuff. But, I feel so loved and protected as well. So, if you see a smile on my face, it’s most likely because I’m happy — not putting on a front. Tomorrow is going to be a harrowing day for me for sure (especially with the potential risks introduced by my blood disorde), but I’m pretty faithful that I’ll come through it just fine.

A couple more things… I may not have internet access while I’m at the hospital (I haven’t found out yet). If I do, you’ll no doubt hear from me. If not, and you want to know anything, email me and I’ll try to get back to you as soon as I can. If you can’t wait, please email Julianna.
